A popular Long Beach area program offers birding excursions to a local venue one each month, and the date has been set for its February installment.
Rancho Los Cerritos is a local historic site that’s home to lots of wildlife, and it will be welcoming a guided visit by those who are interested in the birds and other wildlife that call the location home. It is free to join the fun, and the facilitator will be able to answer questions from the group.
Attendees will gather in the early morning. Everyone is encouraged to bring binoculars if they have them, and those with all levels of birding experience are welcome, with the walk proceeding at a leisurely pace.
A guided visit to a venue gives the public the chance to learn more about wildlife in their own home area. Basic field guides focused on local species, safety waivers, and other custom printed materials can be prepared for an activity by a printing services company.
