Festival celebrates all that is Long Beach
The Love Long Beach Festival is taking place over two days in the middle of this month. A portion of all proceeds raised will be donated to Children Today.
A lot of the planned events are physical in nature and include a 5K run, sand soccer, beach volleyball, and women’s tackle football. Other less physical activities include cornhole and a beach dance party with a fire show and a ‘Burning Man’.
The arts and crafts village will have a lot of handmade items for sale, and the farmers’ market will provide fresh local produce. Vendor spaces are still available for purchase. A 10 x 10-foot space costs $330 for returning vendors and $405 for new. For food vendors, the price is $530 or $605.
There are set to be several dog events, such as a talent show and training seminars, an evening luau, and yoga. Music will be provided by artists like the Hopeless Romantics, Fashion Party, Kokee Vega, and the Tri State Union and DJs like Doc Martin and Garth.
To advertise this event in the Long Beach area, organizers might invest in flyers that can be inexpensively distributed.
