The Children’s Fall Harvest Festival will take place at the end of this month in Long Beach. This year’s theme is “Music, Magic and Muse.”
This is a free event that is set to offer lots of family-friendly activities for kids of all ages.
One of the most popular activities will most likely be the parade where everyone has a chance to participate and show off their handmade drums. The drums will be crafted from giant timber bamboo.
There will be games in the barnyard, magic acts, a performance from the Jumbo Shrimp Circus and storytelling from David Lewis. There is also set to be a children’s drum circle, cooking demonstrations and a canvas collage activity. In addition, arts and crafts activities with the theme of “Color is magic” will include finger-painted fall trees, mini-pumpkin decorating and many other things.
Other activities will include the Great Pumpkin Race and making fireworks in a jar. Food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the day.
Organizers of the festival may invest in the services of a Long Beach banner printing company to provide them with decorations for the stages.
The Children’s Fall Harvest Festival will be held at Rancho Los Alamitos on October 30 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. To find out the latest about this event, call 562-431-3541.
