Conference aimed at women in the technology industry
The Wonder Women Tech Conference, Career Fair, and Expo is taking place for two days next month in Long Beach.
The event is aimed at women who are in current working in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) careers or those who have a desire to be. There will also be free coding classes for youth and adults, and workshops for seniors. Attendees will also have the opportunity to pitch their newest products on a demonstration stage.
The conference will also feature several networking receptions, yoga every morning, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. Speakers appearing this year include Terarai Trent, Julian Scaff, Rochelle Briscoe, and Cody Jensen.
There is a fee to attend the conference, but the career fair and expo are free of charge. Many employers will be on hand to talk to those interested in working for them and vendors will have the chance to showcase their newest products and services.
