Conference aimed at raising self-confidence
The PowHERful Woman Women's Conference is taking place this month in Long Beach. It is hosted by Shelley Mechette Vampran.
The aim of this event is to help women take control of their lives, not only in business, but in their personal lives as well.
The event will start off with a continental breakfast at registration. It will then be followed by several speakers, including Lakeisha Singletary, Nicola Ahaiwe, Endyia Kinney-Sterns, Teej Mercer, and Katherine Branchman.
Dietician Marchell Bailey will be hosting a nutritional breakout session while Stephanie Danine will be talking all about hair care. Life coach Kiana Shaw will also be hosting a discussion panel.
In addition to the helpful hints and educational opportunities offered by this conference, it will also be a networking event for businesswomen in the Long Beach area. There will be plenty of time to talk briefly about business and to exchange contact information. With this in mind, some area printing companies may find an increase in the number of business card printing orders they receive leading up to the conference.
