The city of Long Beach is hosting two separate awards galas next month.
The first one to take place will be the Distinguished Citizen Dinner, hosted by the Long Beach Boy Scouts. This year's honoree is Mayor Robert Garcia, who will receive the Good Scout of the Year Award, as well as the Distinguished Citizen Award. The event will feature a cocktail reception and a sit-down dinner. Tickets are $200 each or $125 for young professionals.
Later in the month, the Cottonwood Award Luncheon will be handing out awards for leadership. It will feature a reception, a barbecue buffet, and house and garden tours. This year, the award will be given to Bob and Nancy Foster and special recognition will be given to James C. Hankla. The cost of tickets is $100 each or $75 for Rancho Los Alamitos members.
Long Beach printing companies are often asked to provide printed products such as Invitations for events like these. They also usually supply the programs that are handed out to all ticket holders.
