Annual event supports the Special Olympics
The Rafer Johnson Breakfast with Champions is returning to Long Beach this June. Presented by Special Olympics Southern California, all proceeds from the event will go to the organization.
The event will start off with the parade of champions which will be led by Rafer Johnson, and those participating will include Special Olympians, Olympic champions, and local sports professionals. The keynote speech will be delivered by Doc Rivers of the Los Angeles Clippers, and a Special Olympics parent will also be speaking to the audience during breakfast.
The Humanitarian Award will be given to Cyndi Martinich who has helped with the success of the Special Olympics Southern California School Games Program.
Sponsorships for the breakfast are available for $1,000 up to $15,000, and program advertisements can also be purchased. Sponsors will be recognized at the event.
Long Beach print companies often help to advertise charitable events such as this by providing invitations or advertising flyers. They can then be either mailed out or displayed in local public buildings.
