The 4th annual Cottonwood Awards Luncheon is taking place this May in Long Beach. Proceeds from the event go to support the programs of Rancho Los Alamitos.
The event will start off with a reception at the Rancho Center. It will be followed by a California Ranch barbecue buffet and then the awards presentations.
This year, the Award for Leadership is being given to Doug Otto and Freda Hinsche Otto, and the Special Recognition for Corporate Commitment will be given to The Port of Long Beach and the Long Beach Navy Memorial Heritage Association. Among those presenting the awards for this year are former governor George Deukmejian, Jerry Miller, and Jean Bixby Smith. After the luncheon, guests can choose to take house and garden tours.
Sponsorships can be purchased from $200 up to $15,000. Sponsors will be recognized in all Print advertising and during the luncheon. Businesses can also purchase advertisements in the event's souvenir program, which Long Beach brochure printers may have played a role in producing.
The Cottonwood Awards Luncheon will be held at Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens on May 14 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
