Rancho Days Fiesta delves into Californias past

An upcoming event will allow residents and visitors alike to glimpse what life was like in the early days of California. Rancho Days Fiesta, a Lake Forest annual celebration, is held the first Sunday of every May.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Heritage Hill Historical Park and OC Parks, the past and present merge allowing attendees to experience the music, food, crafts, and dance of a bygone era. Those who come to the event will be able to see and hear remnants of a California that has long past. The Rancho Days Fiesta is an excellent example of where the employment of a banner printing service can be used to both inform and drum up excitement.

First-person re-enactors will be on hand to set the mood and provide demonstrations. Attendees can join in and try their hand at skills that were an important part of the past, such as rope knotting, basket weaving, and adobe brick making. Food and refreshments will be on hand for purchase. Children will be delighted to find out that a piƱata is to be broken open every 40 minutes.

The Rancho Days Fiesta falls on May 4 this month, and takes place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Heritage Hill Historical Park. Adult admission is $4 and admission for children of three years of age and older is $3.
