OC Parks schedules Lake Forest area events

Orange County Parks has scheduled a few events for the month that may be of interest to residents of Lake Forest.

Such events and activities can be promoted throughout a city and county with poster printing.

There will be Preschool Paleontology: Art and Storytime at Ralph B. Clark Regional Park. This event will feature making a craft, listening to a story about animals from the Ice Age, and enjoying a morning at the park. Activities are designed for those between two and five years old but all children all welcome and need to be accompanied by a guardian. This will be on Wednesday, May 15 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Tot Walk will be held at Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. Those who are no older than three years of age will be able to explore the wild backyard of the park. As attendees stroll through the park, there will be birds and plants to explore. This will be on Friday, May 17 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

Finally, there will be the annual Open House at the Helena Modjeska Historic House and Gardens. The Modjeska Shakespeare Players will recreate works from Shakespeare, The Orange Town Revival will perform live music, and docents will lead tours of the grounds and the iconic home. This will be on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
