New housing projects underway in Lake Forest

There are currently three affordable housing projects under construction in Lake Forest, two of which are close to completion.

Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about the features and amenities of such developments.

The Portola Senior Apartments is the first mixed-use development in the city and is at Saddleback Ranch and Glenn Ranch Roads. There will be retail shops and dining on the first floor, along with 57 affordable apartments with one bedroom for those 62 years of age and older who earn 50% or less of the medium income in the area. Amenities include a common area, a community kitchen, resident services, and landscaped courtyards. Those interested can visit the Apartments’ website to inquire about joining the community.

The Mountain View Community is on El Toro Road and offers 71 units with one, two, or three bedrooms. These units will be offered to those making between 30% and 60% of the median income in the area. Among its amenities will be a courtyard with outdoor fireplaces, laundry facilities, and leisure areas. Also offered will be onsite programming and wraparound supportive services. This project is expected to be completed in September.

The Meadows Senior Affordable Apartments is on the corner of Bake Parkway and Rancho Parkway and will have 65 apartment units with a barbeque pavilion, a club room, and laundry room. Current work includes building the elevator pit, and sewer and water lines.
