Fresca’s Authentic Mexican Kitchen recently returned to Lake Forest, reopening its former restaurant after a hiatus of six years.
The restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine, made from scratch, using fresh ingredients with no preservatives. It is the sixth location for the chain in Orange County and tenth throughout the chain, and it has added 20 new jobs to the Lake Forest community.
Director of Operations of Fresca’s Authentic Mexican Kitchen, Gus Lazaro, commented that the company is excited about returning to Lake Forest, where it got its start in 1992. He says it jumped at the opportunity to move back to its original location once they found out it had become available.
Used in the creation of the menu are hand-trimmed, lean, charbroiled meats, fresh-cut tomatoes, homemade salsas, and slow-cooked beans. In addition to the standard quesadillas, tacos, and burritos, Fresca’s offers its signature dishes, which include such items as Fresca’s Bowl, Fresca’s Salad, and the Killer B Burrito.
Fresca’s gives back to the community with its Taco Tuesdays where the restaurant will give back 25% of the proceeds from guests’ orders to the Santiago Elementary School when they mention it when ordering.
