Children Orange County Boys and Girls Clubs, which include close to 20 clubs in the area neighboring Lake Forest, have been invited by HBO and the Los Angeles Rams to participate in a unique training camp that Forms part of the annual celebration ‘Play Football’ this month.
The 150 children will be joined by the cheerleaders from the team and ‘Rampage’, the team’s mascot. The children will watch the team practice and then afterwards will be able to meet the players and take part in a Play Football clinic.
The event is by invitation only. Its sponsors are NFL Films, the Los Angeles Rams, and HBO Sports. The children will have the opportunity to see what is needed to be successful in the National Football League as part of the team’s documentary program on television.
Play Football month is held every August across the country and celebrates the values of the game, youth, and high school football players. The program recognizes the contributions and efforts of these players and their coaches as they prepare for the new season in the fall.
The Los Angeles Rams and other major league football teams can promote the special opportunities offered during the month by using various printing services to elaborate on the benefits of these opportunities to young football players, such as making friends and keeping fit and active.
