Lake Forest to host holiday lights

Holiday Lights will be taking place at Heritage Hill Historical Park in Lake Forest later this month.

There will be special hours at the park so that guests may wander through the displays of twinkling lights. Pets can join in the fun outdoors as long as they are on leashes no longer than six feet. This event and parking are free of charge.

Flyer printing can be used to promote such special events throughout a community and surrounding areas.

Heritage Hill Historical Park covers 4.1 acres and includes four historic buildings that have been fully restored and furnished. It spans the early history of the area from the Mexican Rancho era beginning in 1863, to the founding of the town of El Toro in 1890, through to the farming days of citrus fruits in the early 20th century.

In addition to the Holiday Lights, the park offers guided tours for the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The artifacts, people, and events associated with each building are used to tell the history of the Saddleback area. The park is landscaped to maintain the historic nature of the buildings. There is no charge for such tours, but donations are accepted.

The Holiday Lights event will take place from 5:00 to 9:00pm on Friday December 15, Saturday December 16, and Sunday December 17.
