The Champion ONE (C1) family of brands from A&M Capital Opportunities has been acquired by Legrand, a specialist in digital building, electrical, and data center infrastructures.
The C1 family has office, lab, and warehouse locations here in Lake Forest (as well as Independence, Ohio) and provides optical networking solutions and components for the data center, content provider, telecommunication, and enterprise markets.
This acquisition will enable Legrand to support the growing need of information technology for highly available, reliable, and scalable connectivity and power solutions. CEO and President of Legrand North and Central America, John Selldorff, said that the C1 family of brands complements the company’s previous acquisitions so that the company can provide high-quality engineering services for customized solutions for information technology infrastructure. He added that the acquisition expands the ability of the company to serve 5G, emerging tech, and the evolving content delivery markets. He said the company is looking forward to offering new and better solutions to its partners and customers. Such solutions are often advertised and promoted with brochure printing services.
CEO of C1 family of brands, Michael Rapp, expressed his excitement about being able to work closely with the sales, marketing, and engineering teams at Legrand, noting it is a visionary company that combines the best technologies to create top-notch solutions for mission-critical facilities.
