Lake Forest Chamber has big plans underway

Even with the excitement from the “Annual Secrets & Strategies for Business Success” workshop still in the air this month, the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce has left the door open for individuals who are interested in planning ahead for June as well.

From the perspective of local professionals, things start picking up within the chamber on June 8. Starting at 11:30 am and ending at 1:00 pm, what stands out about “On the Road Again” is the fact that it’s set up to let business owners discuss various topics during lunch hour. Being held at the Luna Grill on El Toro Road, members will pay $15 while those who aren’t members of the Lake Forest Chamber pay $25.

Although organizers are encouraging people to pre-register, the site does state that attendees are allowed to pay their entrance fees at the door. With the support of a printing company that supplies a service like business card printing, this has all the makings of a very productive afternoon in terms of networking.

The other event that local professionals can look forward to is the “Job Workshop” that will be hosted a week later on June 15. With an official start time of 8:30 am, this seminar looks to take up a sizable chunk of the day with the expected conclusion taking place a few hours later at 12:00 pm. With attendance free of charge, residents from Lake Forest and the surrounding area who are without work now have a reliable means of connecting with one another while getting a few tips on the hiring process.
