Lake Forest burger eatery champions child hunger

The Habit Burger Grill in Lake Forest is one of just over a dozen such eateries in Orange County to embark on its third year of fundraising efforts to ensure that no child goes hungry.

The goal for this year is to raise $400,000 so that by the end of this year, the restaurant chain will have raised $1,000,000, equating to 10 million meals.

In the Dine Out for No Kid Hungry promotion, those who eat at The Habit Burger Grill and donate $2.00 or more to the campaign will receive a gift card good for a free Charburger with cheese. The offer is valid for any return visit to the restaurant through the end of the month.

Senior Vice President of Dine Out for No Kid Hungry, Diana Hovey, said that the support of The Habit Burger Grill to the campaign has helped her organization to make advances in ending child hunger in the country.

CEO of The Habit Burger Grill, Russ Bendel, said the company is committed to the No Kid Hungry campaign as it enables the company to serve its guest and also give back to the community.

Poster printing companies could be used by restaurants such as The Habit Burger Grill to promote any fundraising efforts and the cause towards which the money will be donated.
