A Christmas Extravaganza will be held at the Wilcox Manor in Tustin later this month. Residents of Lake Forest will no doubt make time for this special holiday event.
This promises to be an evening of festive music and seasonal delights. Such special events are often promoted throughout a region with poster printing.
From 5:00 to 6:30 pm, The On Impulse Singers will greet guests on the front lawn of the mansion with favorite traditional and pop Christmas songs, getting people into the Christmas spirit. There will be hot cocoa, coffee, and wine, as well as hot hors d’oeuvres. There might also be a visit from Ebenezer Scrooge or one of his spooky ghost visitors as he performs a scene from “A Christmas Carol.” There will also be the chance to have a family photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the gazebo in the backyard.
From 6:30 to 7:30 pm will be the main show. The On Impulse Singers will perform classical, pop, and gospel music, as well as fun comedic pieces. There might be a surprise visit from the Grinch. This will be followed by hot cocoa, tea, or coffee, and holiday desserts. The evening ends with heart-warming Christmas stories, including scenes from “It's a Wonderful Life.”
