There are several Halloween-related events taking place in Lake Forest over the coming days
Print shops can be used to create materials that can be displayed throughout the city so that residents become aware of such events.
The backyard of one home in Lake Forest has been transformed into a large maze of specials effects, ghouls, and ghosts, along with live actors. The owner has said the maze is 2,000 square feet in size with its construction having begun in July. This is the third year of this haunted house attraction, which has become a favorite of those in the city and all over Orange County.
Titled “Scream in the Dark,” the maze is located at Cavanaugh Manor on Cavanaugh Road in Lake Forest and will be opened Friday, October 25 and Thursday, October 31 from 7:30 until 10:00 pm. The maze is recommended for those 13 years of age and older and the cost is $5 to cover costs of operation.
The city will also be hosting a Monster Mash Halloween Dance at the Lake Forest Sports Park and Recreation Center. Games, music, snacks, and a photo booth are the major features of the dance. Costumes are not required but prizes will be awarded for the best ones in several categories.
The dance will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm this Saturday, October 26.
