Dinner by local winemaker to come to Lake Forest area
Patrick Sullivan, winemaker at Grey Stack Cellars, will be holding an exciting evening of food and wine at Trattoria Trullo in Aliso Viejo later this month. Residents of nearby Lake Forest may be interested in attending this event.
Sullivan has been a winemaker for the past 20 years in Sonoma and Napa counties. The Bennett Valley American Viticultural Area located in Sonoma County is known for its soil and climate that produce exceptional merlot, pinot noir, chardonnay, and Syrah wines. Sullivan currently owns and operates the Four Brothers Ranch with his father and produces Grey Stack wines, as well as consulting for other wineries.
The evening will be a dinner where attendees will be able to learn about the winemaking process from Sullivan and enjoy a meal where each menu item is chosen to highlight the selected accompanying wine.
The dinner will consist of four courses, the first three of which will feature a wine from Grey Stack. The first course will be a parmigiano Reggiano souffle while the second course will feature passion fruit and crispy quinoa. The third course will be ricotta cavatelli made in house, and dessert will be poached Williams pears.
