Clovis will welcome families, friends, and community members this October for the 2026 Step Up for Down Syndrome Acceptance Walk at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds.
Hosted by the Down Syndrome Association of Central California (DSACC), the annual gathering will raise funds and promote acceptance, advocacy, and inclusion for people with Down syndrome. This year’s theme, “Inclusion Is Our Superpower,” reflects the event’s focus on recognizing the strengths, contributions, and value of individuals with Down syndrome in the wider community.
Participants can form teams, fundraise, and take part in a family-friendly day of activities. Food trucks, games, and dancing are expected to create a lively setting for attendees of all ages. Admission is free for individuals with Down syndrome and children aged three and under, while general admission costs $15. The first 21 teams to register with 12 general-admission members will receive a tote bag and event credit.
Community walks such as this often use poster printing to share event information, promote team participation, and highlight messages of inclusion throughout the area. Local Print shops will be able to help.
The 2026 Step Up for Down Syndrome Acceptance Walk will take place on Saturday, October 17 at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds, running from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. More information is available on the Down Syndrome Association of Central California’s official website.
