Swing dancing can be a fun form of exercise, and an activity that will include lots of time on the dance floor is on the way for Clovis.
Local residents are invited to slip on their dancing shoes and head to the Clovis Veterans Memorial District for a high energy fundraiser, there are two ways the guests can make a contribution. Donations of cash and non-perishable food will both be welcome, and everyone is asked to be as generous as possible.
The attendees will be able to show off the best dance moves to live music provided by the Red River Dutchmen, and everyone is encouraged to bring their friends and family, as the more the merrier. The festivities will be family friendly, and the charities of choice include the Boys and Girls Club of Clovis as well as local veterans community service organizations. The fun will run for three hours, and it's been planned for the afternoon.
A themed fundraiser may call for custom decor, and a poster printing company will be pleased to provide these types of materials. They can offer both single use and reusable options, and may be able to accommodate most budget levels.
This chance for Clovis residents of all ages to try swing dancing is scheduled for February 1st. It will begin at 2:00 pm at 808 4th Street.
