Clovis will welcome runners, veterans, and community members this November for the second annual Run For Warriors 5K, hosted by Veterans Freedom Shows and Events on the Clovis Old Town Trail.
Organised by Veterans Freedom Shows and Events, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation, the event raises funds to support causes focused on veterans, including Wreaths Across America and Central Valley Honor Flight.
The race begins at Clovis Health Sciences University at 7:00 AM, with distinct start times for the Competitive 5K and the Fun Runs. Race-day packet pickup is scheduled from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM, and preliminary results appear online once runners are across the finish line. Friends and family can register together to receive a $5 discount per person.
A pancake breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a patriotic concert with live band and car show, veteran documentaries, Faces of our Veterans displays, and tours of the Community Heritage Center from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
