Fans will be able to join Danny Gokey to celebrate the West Coast release of his new album, “Jesus People.” Singer/songwriter Gokey, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, came to national attention when he appeared in the eighth season of “American Idol,” finishing as the third-place winner. After his impressive showing, RCA Nashville and 19 Recordings signed him, and he started his career, focusing on country music. His first release was a single, “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me,” which he followed with “My Best Days,” his debut album, in 2010.
He began to transition toward a contemporary adult pop sound in 2011. He signed with BMG in 2013, releasing “Hope in Front of Me,” his second album, in 2014. In 2016, the GMA Dove Awards named his album “Christmas Is Here” as their pick for “Best Christmas Album of the Year,” and in 2017, he was nominated for a Grammy for “Best Contemporary Christian Music” for his album “Rise.” Brochure printing can be used to create programs for events like this.
The party is set for August 20 at 7:00 pm at the Calvary Chapel Chino Hills on Eucalyptus Avenue in Chino. VIPs will be admitted at 5:00 pm; early entry is 5:15 pm; and general admission to both the sanctuary and lawn seating is at 6:00 pm.
