Chino fans of the feathery set will find lots to talk about when they participate in an expo-style event that will put birds first.
Companion birds will be the focus of the Exotic Bird Mart and Expo, which will be the first function of its kind planned for the community for 2026. The Portuguese Hall of Chino Valley will serve as its venue, and all ages may attend.
The gathering will bring together a wide variety of vendors that offer birds as well as supplies to help keep them healthy and happy. There will be feathered friends to meet, although no touching is allowed and children need to be supervised. Cages and food will be on offer, and there will also be opportunities for those new to bird ownership to learn from subject matter experts. Pigeons, parrots, finches, canaries, and other species will all be in the mix. As a safeguard against the risk of avian flu, no poultry will be there.

The Exotic Bird Mart and Expo will be making a stop in Chino on Sunday, January 18. Admission will be $15 for adults and $10 for kids from the ages of two to ten.
