The Master The Fundamentals Critical Survival Skills Course is scheduled to take place near Chino this summer.
Hosted by the Coyne Survival Schools, this course is taught across California to teach individuals of any skill level the fundamentals of how to survive in the wilderness. Participants will receive hands-on experience out in the wilderness near the Big Bear Lake Ski Resort.
Topics that will be covered in the course include how to make a fire during any kind of weather, build a shelter from scratch, preliminary first aid skills, what do about hypothermia, tools to keep in a wilderness survival kit, how to stay calm in emergency situations, properly deal with dangerous animal encounters, make rope or string from plants, and how to find and clean water.
A lake will be near the camp location, so participants with licenses have the option to go fishing.
Southern Californians from Chino and other towns and cities in the area are welcome to join this weekend wilderness survival course for $300 per person. Organizations such as survival schools frequently advertise event information through the use of poster printing.
This educational wilderness survival course is set to occur at Camp La Verne in Angelus Oaks on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm both days.
