Chino city staff are hard at work preparing for a schedule of outdoor summer fun, and a series of events has recently been released to the public.
The community will be running its Chino Summer Nights program throughout June and July, and it will offer locals an opportunity to enjoy a movie under the stars. These will be screened on the lawn at City Hall and are free to watch. Portable seating or a blanket is highly recommended.
The schedule, which will begin mid-June, will show a different movie each night, and a special edition planned for June 28 will include fireworks and a carnival. This installment will be on offer at Ruben S. Ayala Park. Food trucks and other vendors will be on site, and seven films are on the list.
To help make these activities even more fun, organizers are accepting applications from entertainers, food truck operators, and retail vendors. Owners of mobile eateries can have a vehicle wrap prepared and installed by a local printing services company so that theirs will be in top shape for the summer season.
The schedule for Chino Summer Nights will open on Friday, June 14 with a screening of Barbie, and it will wrap up on July 26 with Wonka. Its website provides more details, as well as vendor and entertainer applications for local businesses looking to get involved.
