Chino offers its residents a variety of ways to get up and get active, and one will be introducing preschoolers and other early learners to the joys of dance.
Butterfly Ballerinas will begin in mid-June, and is for kids from the ages of three to six. The Preserve Community Center located at 15800 Main Street will be the location for the classes, each of which will run for 45 minutes.
Children who register for the sessions will be developing both gross and other motor skills through the basics of ballet. They will be invited to explore rhythm and improve their coordination and listening abilities. Everyone will be required to wear ballet shoes as well as a leotard and tights. The final instalment will include a performance for parents and other special people in the young dancer’s lives.
Dancing, gymnastics, and other classes that encourage kids to have fun by getting up and moving can spark an interest in keeping fit, even if they never become a professional. The Butterfly Ballerinas dance sessions for junior ballerinas will run on Tuesday evenings from June 11 until July 30. They will begin at 5:10 pm and continue until 5:55 pm.
