The winter holiday can be a magical time of the year, and a Chino event is set to bring some extra excitement to the season.
Chino has set the date for its annual Tree Lighting and Santa’s Workshop, and the organizers hope both will help to boost the area's holiday spirit. Local dignitaries will be in attendance, and there will be lots to see and do.
The event, which will be held in early December, will see the switch thrown on Chino’s holiday tree and other light displays. This will take place on the City Hall lawn. At Santa’s Workshop, the kids can write a letter to the Big Guy in Red, and these will be sent directly to the North Pole. They may also enjoy the cookie decorating and time in the craft corner.
Along with the rest of the excitement, the evening will include photos with Santa as well as hot chocolate and strolling carollers. Everyone is reminded to bring their camera.
