The Chino area values its veterans, and a local community would like to honor its former service members next month.
All ages are welcome to be a part of Diamond Bar’s annual Veterans Recognition Day, and the agenda for the celebration is intended to show vets that their community cares. The function will be held at 1600 Grand Avenue, and admission is free to all.
During the event, there will be patriotic music playing and everyone will be invited to enjoy some light refreshments. During a special awards ceremony, former service members will be honored, and anyone who would like to be acknowledged can add their name to the list by contacting the organizers at 909-839-7076.
Along with the ceremony and meet and greet, Diamond Bar is offering Signs that boast a graphic design and message that reads “Proud of our Veterans.” These are available free of charge, and may be displayed on the front lawn of a private home or business. There are only 100 available, and they are expected to be snapped up quickly.
