Annual fundraiser race to come back to Chino

The DairyAire 5k Fundraiser event is set to return to Chino this March.

This racing event serves a fundraiser for the Chino Youth Museum, which is a community organization that first opened in 1999. The Chino Youth Museum provides an interactive entertainment and learning environment for children that features a diverse variety of events, activities, games, and projects throughout each year.

Since its debut in 2010, the DairyAire 5k Fundraiser has featured a different theme each year. Fore 2021, the race will feature a sports theme, so runners are encouraged to wear the athletic clothing and the gear of their chosen sports teams. All participants must wear footwear suitable for running, meaning sandals and flip-flops are prohibited.

Runners can participate in the fundraiser 5k as a virtual or in-person event. Tickets for both options cost $35 per individual prior to Monday, March 1. From Tuesday, March 2 until the start of the event, the signup fee will increase to $40 per person. When organizing fundraiser events, the hosts often utilize poster printing to hang colorful, detailed printouts throughout popular local venues to attract the attention of participants.

The 11th Annual DairyAire 5k Fundraiser is scheduled to be hosted at Ayala Park on Saturday, March 6. Except for a possible occurrence of dangerous weather conditions, the race will proceed through sun or rain.
