The Paisley Alive Festival could well become the new summer centrepiece for the town, as it is being billed as an event suitable for people of all ages. It will feature a range of different types of performances and activities during the daytime, before live music takes over at night. The headline acts for the debut festival will be Sister Sledge, Emeli Sande, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man and Cammy Barnes.
This festival is set to be split between a total of six stages and tents. The earlier hours will be dedicated to health and wellness activities. Among those who will lead the classes are Emma O’Donnell, who is an early years teacher; Jenny Clark, who works in the wellness industry; and Jo Roberts, who is a fitness instructor.
The organisers of new local events like festivals sometimes use promotional Pens created by Paisley shops as a way to spread the word about them.
According to the Renfrewshire Gazette, the organisers of this festival said on social media:
“For a first-time festival, attracting this level of musical royalty alongside some of the biggest inspirations in the fitness and wellness world is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
The location for it will be Barshaw Park on 4th July.
