The writer behind a book that has become a global bestseller is scheduled to visit Paisley towards the end of this year, for an interview and signing session.
C.J. Cook is an internationally renowned author. Her newest offering is called ‘The Book of Witching’ and it has been a smash hit. It tells the tale of two women living four centuries apart who find themselves strangely connected through the titular book of witchcraft. Since its release it has sold very strongly and found itself nominated as a pick in the BBC Radio 2 Book Club.
Now, Cook is set to come to Paisley for a special event that will involve signing Copies of her book and taking part in an interview. The venue for this will be The Wynd Centre in the town.
The host and interviewer will be Rachael Smith from Paisley Heritage. After that, Cook will take questions from the audience about the book and her career before the signing session.
Flyer printing provided by shops in Paisley is just one of the ways in which local venues can advertise the events that they have planned, such as this one.
There is a strong Scottish connection with the book, as it is mostly set on Orkney. Cook stated that she was delighted to be coming to Paisley for this event.
