A theatre company based in Paisley is planning a brand new show targeted at children, and is being described as a celebration of all things connected to the seaside.
This show will be called ‘Doon the Watter’ and it is being put on by the PACE Theatre Group. The venue for the performances is set to be PACE at the Paisley Centre, within a pop-up theatre created by the group. Its latest show is intended to be a mix of adventure, storytelling and nature. The target audience for it will be children up to five years old.
‘Doon the Watter’ is the work of Lyndsey Graham, who wrote the show and will also be directing it. She has a track record of success with the group, having written two previous hit shows. They were ‘Aunt Alma’s Attic’ and ‘The House-Proud Mouse.’

Among the characters that will feature in ‘Doon the Watter’ are seal pups, seabirds and mermaids. It will have songs by Alan Orr, with lyrics written by Iona Ramsay.
