Next year’s festival is scheduled to be held in Paisley Town Hall, with work to refurbish that facility now almost completed, as well as the brand new Central Library. The intention is to turn this part of the town centre, close to Paisley Abbey, into its cultural quarter.
Furthermore, the organisers of the festival are planning a spectacular line-up of authors for the 2024 event.
Its theme will be ‘Imagine Something Different’, and it will have a new programmer in the shape of Jess Orr. Speaking to a reporter from the Paisley Daily Express, she said how excited she was to be in charge of choosing the roster of artists to participate in the festival at its new homes, before adding:
“These re-imagined spaces are a perfect setting to celebrate the power of stories and narrative to transport us beyond reality to imagine different worlds, different perspectives and, most importantly, different possibilities.”
