Beyond Retail Property Fund Ltd (BRPF) is hoping to carry out an ambitious regeneration of the Paisley Centre and other buildings in the area around it. The company acquired this shopping centre towards the end of 2020, and it has followed up this year by purchasing the town centre branch of Marks & Spencer and the building that used to house Alders Department Store.
The new images that it has released give some idea of the scope of the redevelopment, which will incorporate shopping spaces, areas for the public, a new hotel and homes. BRPF also plans to turn the ex-department store into a health centre with cutting-edge equipment.
Graphic design outlets based in Paisley often provide developers with these sorts of images of planned developments to show to people living there.
According to the Daily Record, Richard Ford from Reith Lambert said:
“We are delighted that our client is now in a position to bring forward their exciting new multi-use Masterplan and are looking forward to showcasing our plans to members of the public.”
The images will go in display in a virtual exhibition, as part of a public consultation that will run for a period of 12 weeks.
