Bushes Primary School has been provided with a grant worth £10,000 from the housing association Sanctuary Scotland, and will use it to get this playground built. The new play area will be constructed by Cruden Building, which is already working on a nearby housing development on behalf of Sanctuary Scotland.
At the moment, the playground in the school is full of disused equipment for outdoor play, but all of that will be removed so that a bright new play area can be put in its place. Stationery printers in Paisley often provide schools in the area with their administrative Forms and other printed materials.
Speaking to the Daily Record, the headmaster of Bushes Primary School, Craig McCrorie, stated that the school wanted to thank Sanctuary Scotland for its generous support.
He then went on to add:
“This refurbishment will have a positive impact on the lives of the children within Bushes for years to come.”
Sanctuary provided this grant funding via its programme called MORE! This is aimed at backing projects designed to improve the lives of the local community in places where Sanctuary is in the process of constructing housing.
