A popular festival held every year in Paisley is set to be bigger and better than ever before, after it was announced that a new partner has been signed up.
The Paisley Food and Drink Festival has grown to become one of the biggest events of its kind in Scotland and this year’s festival will be a collaboration with PLATFORM, an independent market dedicated to street food. The line-up for 2019 will give people a chance to explore the very best in street foods from around the world and it will be held right in the heart of town.
It is set to feature over 40 vendors and traders, a number of well-known celebrity chefs cooking up different delights within a special demonstration kitchen, and areas where people can picnic close to the beautiful Paisley Abbey.
PLATFORM will be providing 10 street food traders considered among the best in the country, cocktails and craft beers, DJs and huge tee-pee tents. Poster printing is often used to advertise festivals and other local events.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Louisa Mahon from the local council stated:
“This is the fifth year of our Paisley Food and Drink Festival and the appetite has continued to grow each year, attracting thousands of visitors to Paisley town centre.”
It will take place on 26th and 27th April.
