Artists announced for festival in Paisley

A beloved Paisley festival that offers a unique mix of music, arts and comedy will return for the 10th time later this year, and now the line-up of artists has been confirmed.

The Spree has become one of the essential annual events in Paisley since it was launched in 2012, and the organisers have secured a top set of performers for this year’s event. On the opening evening, the Scots folk rock band Tide Lines will play a headline set, while one of the highlights of the second night is sure to be an acoustic show by two members of hit band Ocean Colour Scene.

Other performers who are confirmed to be appearing across the 10 days of the festival include the Grammy-winning band Tinariwen, who will bring their fusion of African sounds and Jimi Hendrix-inspired electric blues to Paisley. The third night will be dominated by the ModStuff show featuring Northern Soul tunes.
