These Plans would see Paisley Museum extended, in addition to a number of alterations being made to the outside of the building. Among the proposed changes are the addition of a new entrance hall in red glazing and a courtyard, a new wing added on to the west side of the current building, and the construction of a new garden space for use by the public which would allow the observatory to be seen from angles currently hidden.
The proposals also indicate that a weaving studio, which will offer interactive activities, will be created with the idea of honouring Paisley’s past as a centre of the textile industry. Museums often stock promotional Pens in their gift shops, for advertising purposes and for visitors to take home as souvenirs.
According to PBC Today, Marie McGurk from the local council stated:
“The Paisley Museum Reimagined project is at the heart of our bold plans to transform Paisley town centre in the years ahead – we are delighted it was able to pass this important milestone.”
The work is expected to cost £42 million to complete and get it should get underway next year, with the redesigned museum being completed by 2022.Get a Free Quote for Pens Get a Free Quote for Plans
