Stewart Travel is situated on Sinclair Street, and it confirmed its Plans for new premises via a shop window poster, but people looking to book a place in the sun post-Covid-19 will not have to go far to find its new base. The company will remain on the same street, moving a few yards along to occupy the unit that was formerly home to a branch of the shoe shop Clarks.
Its manager, Linda Harvey, stated that the move had been planned before the pandemic, with everyone having realised that it had outgrown its existing base.

Harvey went on to tell the Helensburgh Advertiser that the company wanted to stay in the same area due to the number of shoppers who use it, before adding:
“We were just waiting for the right time and the right property, and when the Clarks premises became available it was decided that would be ideal.”
The manager concluded by saying that renovation work still needed to be done on the new premises, but the move would happen this summer.
