A plan that would see over 100 homes constructed on vacant land in Helensburgh has been submitted to the local council.
This plan is a joint one between Cala Homes (West), Helensburgh Golf Club and Dunbritton Housing Association. It would see a development consisting of 145 homes built on 20 acres of land close to the course. The chosen site lies just off East Abercromby Street and is currently lying empty. A Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) has now been sent to Argyll and Bute Council.
If the plan gets the go ahead, one quarter of the homes would be affordable, with Dunbritton owning and running them. That organisation has purchased land on Kent Drive that lies alongside the site as part of the project.
In addition to providing the town with further housing, the Plans would also see Helensburgh Golf Club undergo a series of upgrades. These would include the enlarging of the course with four additional holes and the building of a new clubhouse.
Local sports clubs sometimes use Stationery printers in Helensburgh. They can supply the Forms needed for the smooth running of the clubs.
Gillian Hessett works for Cala Homes (West) as its land manager. She stated that the joint project would produce housing of the highest standard and improved facilities for the golf club.
She added that the three companies would carry out a public consultation.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Plans
