This year’s Stand Up To Cancer event will be held at Hermitage Academy, in late summer. In previous years, the Ardencaple grounds of Helensburgh Rugby Club had been used, but it has been decided to switch to a new venue after the events of the last two years were hampered by bad weather.
The assistant manager for the town’s Cancer Research UK outlet, Alison Sturgeon, told the Helensburgh Advertiser that they had opted to make this year’s event a mainly indoor one because the 2017 festival had been ruined by poor weather conditions, while the 2018 one had to be cancelled completely for the same reason.
She also stated that this year’s festival would feature crafts and arts activities, a barbecue, various stalls with items for sale and a stage for dancing and live music. Printers who provide Logo Design services often help with Posters and other promotional materials for events like this. Sturgeon added:
“Our budget is zero. This is organised on a voluntary basis by the Cancer Research UK shop in Helensburgh to enable us to do our part in standing up to cancer.”
It will take place on 18th August, between 2pm and 4pm.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design Get a Free Quote for Posters
