This ambitious project officially got underway following the purchase of the site by a housing development firm and will see close to 100 four, three and two bedroom homes constructed there. Argyll and Bute Council has already given planning approval to the project, which will make a real difference to families in the town.
Taylor Wimpey is the developer behind this project, although the exact sum it paid for the land will remain private. The firm has now begun clearing the ground ahead of building work commencing on the site, which is situated near Campbell Drive.
Speaking to the Helensburgh Advertiser, local councillor Gary Mulvaney stated that he was delighted that the land sale had been completed and that the actual work could now begin, before going on to add that:
“As a council we are committed to working with Taylor Wimpey West Scotland to support our local economy and community by creating and supporting local jobs and apprenticeships.”
The real building work is expected to get underway early next year. Many property developers often turn to places that Print Brochures in order to showcase the properties they build upon completion.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Brochures
