Chance of an award for school in Helensburgh

A school located in Helensburgh is in contention for a top national award, having made it to the final stages of the competition that takes place later in the year.

Lomond School is situated on Stafford Street in Helensburgh. It has been shortlisted for this year’s Independent Schools of the Year Awards, in the category ‘Independent Boarding School of the Year.’ The chance of winning such a prestigious prize comes in the wake of the perfect score that the school received from the Care Inspectorate, marking an excellent year.

These awards are the brainchild of a magazine called Independent School Parent. The purpose of them is to spotlight schools that are excelling and make parents aware of places that offer the best opportunities for their children.

When schools and colleges win awards, they often turn to Stationery printers in the local area. This way, they are able to get official Forms that showcase their triumphs.

Lomond School is a boarding facility. Its boarding house is called Burnbrae, which the Care Inspectorate adjudged to be one of the best in its sector. It is home to 50 pupils, who come from all over the world to study at the school.

Other educational facilities that are in contention for the award include Sunningdale School, Roedean School and Milton Abbey School.

The awards ceremony is to be held on 8th October.
