Telford College to host Community Day

Telford College has announced that it will be opening its doors to local people during the summer for an event that it is calling a Community Day.

This is a brand new event, but one that may become a regular occurance if it proves a hit with residents of the town. There will be a variety of entertainment experiences and activities available on the day, all of which will be suitable for people of any age. Telford College has stated that the idea behind it is to honour the town’s community and build partnerships.

The Community Day will be held at the Wellington campus and will give residents the chance to look around it. They will be able to explore its facilities and meet students from the college.

Educational establishments in Telford sometimes make use of Stationery printers based in the town. These can supply them with all of the Forms they need for admin purposes.

Lawrence Wood is the Principal of Telford College. Speaking to Telford Live, he said that everyone at the college took pride in the part it plays within the life of the town.

He then added:
“This Community Day is about celebrating that – bringing people together, showing what happens across our campus every day, and strengthening the partnerships that make our area such a vibrant place to live and work.”

It will be held on 6 June.
