This event debuted last summer and is called Krazy Races. It sees the participants construct their own soapbox go-karts and don fancy dress to take part in a race. This is in aid of local charities, with the main beneficiary of the inaugural event being the Sunflower Appeal organised by Lingen Davies Cancer Support. The first Krazy Races was a big hit with local people, so news that it is returning will be very welcome.
Although it is not being held until the summer of 2027, people are already able to apply for a place. The event is open to family or friend groups, community organisations, colleges, schools and businesses. The venue for next year’s race will again be Telford Town Park.
Promotional Products created by Print shops in Telford can be a good way to advertise local events. They can be designed with a theme that fits and given away to people.
Angela McClements is a member of Telford and Wrekin Council. She told BBC News:
“Bringing it back reflects our commitment to delivering exciting events that give residents and visitors more reasons to spend time in Telford, support our local economy and enjoy everything our borough has to offer.”
