Inflatable Olympics to come to Telford

Telford is set to host a fun and quirky event later this year, as the Inflatable Olympics will come to town.

This goofy get-together is open to both teams of participants and individual entrants. It will involve having to negotiate an obstacle course that is made up of inflatable items. While the various competitors are trying to complete this course, they will be accompanied by party music being played by a resident DJ. The event will be one of the highlights of the summer in Telford and it will also raise money for charity.

All of the money raised through donations will go to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. The Mercure Telford Centre Hotel is serving as the venue for the event and there is a link between the hotel and the chosen charity. The Air Ambulance service saved the life of a former staff member following a serious accident.

In addition to the main obstacle course activity and music, the Inflatable Olympics will include other Forms of entertainment. There will be an artist who can paint faces and a caricaturist. People who sign up for the course are encouraged to don fancy dress too.
