Romford theatre to stage Peter Pan Musical
Romford’s Brookside Theatre is will be showcasing a musical based on children’s favourite, Peter Pan this December.
The show is going to be performed by a cast that will include Taylor Jenkins. The 10-year-old attends Rise Park Academy, which is a school on Annan Way in Romford and he will take the role of Michael Darling. As he has acted alongside Jason Donovan and Joe McFadden in Dartford, he has obtained some useful experience. He told the Romford Recorder:
Murray Charles Williams is prepared to take on the lead role of Peter Pan. He can appreciate the fun element in the story. At the age of 13, he understands the attraction of remaining immature. Having played the Artful Dodger in a production of Oliver! already, he has aspirations to be an actor. He has also enjoyed the experience of singing and dancing.
The Brookside Theatre is located on Eastern Road. The hope is that the audience will be impressed by a blend of special effects, adventurous performances and familiar characters like Captain Hook and Tiger Lily. Poster printing can be used to promote local events such as this.
