This regeneration project aims to transform a site around Queen Street and Waterloo Road. It is a massive scheme that would be made up of multiple construction phases, but planning approval has only been granted for the first of them. This will involve the building of two new tower blocks at the site, which will contain over 100 affordable homes for local people.
Other amenities that will be created alongside the housing are landscaped green spaces for public use and a community hub. The project will be carried out by Wates Residential and Havering Council, working in partnership.
